Dana Olsen's cameo
Obviously Dana Olsen, the guy who wrote "The Burbs" has a cameo in the movie as a cop. Does anybody know which cop it is?
I guess he's the one who asks: "What is the problem here?" seconds before the Klopek's house blows up, but I'm not sure.

Most noteworthy seem to be "George of the Jungle" and "Inspector Gadget".
But I heard he was the host of some comedy special show a couple of years ago (although it's not credited on imdb).

Let's go over the fence and not come back until we find an answer to this. I always thought that it was that guy as well. The old cop is Rance Howard - Ron Howard's father. I think the black detective is Franklin Ajaye? What other cops are there? I just searched and there are no photos for him in the first dozen sites I went to including the IMDB.
