NBC Late Night

Is anyone here particularly passionate about the NBC late night line-up? I've generally either been out of the house or sleeping at that time of night, but the monologues have been interesting.

Conan is supposedly working to book "A-List" talent before the Olympics start ... including our own Tom Hanks.

Conan described one of his future career opportunities...
"I received a letter from the adult-film company Pink Visual offering me a role in one of their porn movies," Conan said Thursday in his opening monologe. "In the movie, I'd be having sex with a beautiful woman and just as we are about to climax, I get replaced by Jay Leno."

NBC is trying to screw over O'Brian. Leno needs to go away. It's all so stupid. They gave O'Brian a 80 million contract and should therefor honor it.

I agree. They had that technicality where he could still host "The Tonight Show," except in the 12:05 time slot. I was curious to see if Conan's argument would hold legally - that the Tonight Show is at 11:35 and has been for so many years.

Either way ... if they want to think future, they should think Conan. I know it historically takes a little while for ratings to really get rolling in a new show - maybe this is a big enough event to spark a change
