American Stonehenge

This isn't as impressive of that in England, but intersting non-the-less. I went there about 10 years ago.

Cool I love stone circles. Ive been to a few ancient ones here in the UK

Something really cool about standing in them and touching them.

Stonehenge is around 6,000 years old.

How old is that one Rays Yard?

They estemate it to be about 4000 years old. It's quite amazing to be around things that old. I once stood by the great pyramids of Giza and that gave me goose bumps. They are so massive and old it just blows ones mind.

Absolutely

I dunno what it is...just being there feels kinda....amazing

I went to Hadrian's Wall which stretches across the country. Had to bring back a momento...it was amazing to think that the rocks in the wall that I touched were placed there soooooooo long ago...by Romans.

Have you guys heard of/or believe the theory that our ancestors had alien help to build these massive stone structures? I do not believe it. 4000 years ago they had nothing else to do except carve things out of rocks, so of course they would become experts at it. Right?

It baffles the mind to think that those HUGE chunks of rock were carved out in Wales and brought back to that particular place on Salisbury Plain...rolling on logs and using man power and rope. Staggering. The Will they must have had.

I can see why some think they MUST have had some kinda help. Same with the pyramids I suppose.

Has anyone read Chariots Of The Gods?

I've read Chariot of the Gods. Interesting read. Although, I think if "aliens" helped build such things as the Pyramids and other things, they would be preserved in perfect condition. I mean, if Aliens traveled the cosomos to come here, wouldn't you think they're technology would be greater than sticks and stones and rocks? you know, someting more substantial that would last for ever? Just a though.

On the other hand, how do you want to make such an ancient civilisation acquainted with modern technology without causing a culture and maybe system shock? Isn't it probably better to help them improving the things they already know? How do you want to teach them how to handle the high complexity of modern technology? Plus: if you don't want to cause to much attention by changing this world and turning it upside down but rather keep in the background, it would be rational to assist with tools and technology that has already been there.
