Lord of the Rings
First of all, I would like to say, amazing trilogy.
Did anyone else become obsessed with these movies when they came out? I know I was, I watched it almost more than the burbs(blasphemy!) but I haven't watched it in while.
It truly is one of the greatest trilogies of all time based on one of the best book trilogies of all time.
Also, did any of you read the books or anything before the movies came out? I read the hobbit before but that's it.

Those movies were epic. I never really cared about LOTR before the movies came out and I'm not so much interested in the Fantasy - genre. But watching this trilogy was really great. Never read the book though.

We watched all three movies back to back to back when they came out on DVD. BEFORE the directors cuts came out. I nearly died.
I now have all three directors cuts, me and my brother watched the first, and didn't watch the other two. That was a year ago. Good movies, but it sucks the life out of you.
