The term, God's Country, I guess may be unique to the US and generally denotes any unspoiled area that would seem to the user of the term to be idyllic in nature. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Mayfield669)Sat, 28 Jun 2008 07:06:35 +0000 Re: Flooding in Iowahttps://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4711,from=rss#post4711https://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4711,from=rss#post4711It is? Oh, so it says http://neiaprogressive.blogspot.com/2007/09/gods-country.html I'm a linear thinking agnostic but I get the gyst I think... Flooding is a nightmare and I sympathise with anyone affected. Especially those poor people in Burma - with a 12 foot wall of water bearing down on them. Awful.  nondisclosed_email@example.com (Art Weingartner)Fri, 27 Jun 2008 17:44:26 +0000 Re: Flooding in Iowahttps://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4695,from=rss#post4695https://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4695,from=rss#post4695Affirmative.nondisclosed_email@example.com (TheManiacNextDoor)Thu, 26 Jun 2008 22:00:34 +0000 Re: Flooding in Iowahttps://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4689,from=rss#post4689https://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4689,from=rss#post4689Iowa is God's Countrynondisclosed_email@example.com (Mayfield669)Thu, 26 Jun 2008 18:22:32 +0000 Re: Flooding in Iowahttps://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4686,from=rss#post4686https://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4686,from=rss#post4686God's basement?nondisclosed_email@example.com (Art Weingartner)Thu, 26 Jun 2008 18:19:06 +0000 Re: Flooding in Iowahttps://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4673,from=rss#post4673https://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4673,from=rss#post4673Looks like God's basement just flooded right over....nondisclosed_email@example.com (TheManiacNextDoor)Wed, 25 Jun 2008 19:34:36 +0000 Flooding in Iowahttps://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4668,from=rss#post4668https://btheburbs.runboard.com/p4668,from=rss#post4668The last couple of weeks have been really hard on the American midwest and the Mississippi River Valley. Evidently floods of record have resulted in Iowa from, in some cases, 500-year storm events. Hopefully, Hinkley Hills or at least Mayfield Place was spared and the Klopeks' basement remains unflooded.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Mayfield669)Wed, 25 Jun 2008 18:44:44 +0000
