Re: The missing day
I'm sorry to say that Archie doesn't remember that scene with him playing a postman.
I've tried to reach another actress and
I'll let you know if it works.

Re: The missing day
I've chatted with the editor, the sympathetic Marshall Harvey, he told me that the missing day was cut before the test screening, here is his quote :
"The missing day will probably remain lost. It was the first thing we eliminated- long before the first test screening version which is the workprint on the bluray. The movie was too long and repetitive and, frankly, that section wasnt all that funny."

Re: The missing day
Wow great work again Fred!
A shame we won't find any cuts from the editing room floor then.
Kudos to you on the legwork and getting to "chat" with Marshall Harvey. If I ever need a Private Investigator, I'm calling you.

Re: The missing day
More deleted scenes :
On this picture you can see the continuation of the daylight scene after Rumsfield falls from his roof and blasts his car window.
The movie shows us what Ray and Art are doing inside the Klopeks.
Then we're back outside but int he final cut the night is falling already. There was a part that was filmed, maybe partially, involving a cop and other jokes before dusk.
Rumsfield is bending to check out his car with Ricky and one of his friends next to him.

Re: The missing day
Feels like some day we could edit the original movie and make an extended more fuller version.
